Violent Sneezes
It was bound to happen sooner or later. I was hoping later, but alas...my car has had it's first bumper scratcher. Some idiot driver scraped it along the garage door frame. Oh, did I mention it was me? Yeah. I backed out of the garage and I guess I wasn't paying attention and sssscccccrrrraaaaapppeee. It's not so bad, pretty minor really. But geez, I was hoping I would at least make my first payment before anything happened to it. Oh well. No use crying over spilled...life, little rain...all that.
So what I thought had been allergies all last week has exploded into a full blown cold. But I have attacked it with regular doses of Zicam and vitamin C, and have been taking B12 to keep my energy up. I am already feeling better and am hoping I will be back to normal by Saturday.
Saturday is my dear friends baby shower. I am really looking forward to it. I went shopping tonight for the food. I am attempting to make cucumber sandwiches. I have never had a cucumber sandwich, and am trying to figure these out. They sound simple, but it's not turning out to be. My experiments tonight were 'meh', and I am hoping for 'ooh, yum'. I may break down and have some cute little deli whip something up, just to save me some energy. I will be making my 'famous' (famous amongst my family only) pasta salad and serving fresh pineapple and grapes and pink raspberry lemonade. For dessert is 'Better-Than-Sex Cake' and Strawberry ice cream. It's a girl, so we're having lots of pink.
Off to sleep now.
