Taco Supreme
So my new policy for work is working fairly well. My new mantra (at work at least) is 'just let it go'. That's not to say that stupid crap still doesn't bother me, but the mantra helps. I also put up some Demotivators (www.despair.com) on the board in the back room which are always good for a chuckle.
At any rate, I'm feeling a lot more light-hearted. I woke up early this morning so I could put a turkey breast in the slow cooker. I felt ever so accomplished, and even more so when my husband called me at work to tell me how delicious it turned out. How I love being domestic :)
I finished the invitations for Miss W's baby shower. They turned out really cute, I am proud of my craftiness. I kind of don't want to give them way, because they are so cute and I worked so hard on them. But they're invitations, so the point is kind of to give them away. So tomorrow I will stick stamps on them and then start figuring out what to serve and what games to play. Better Than Sex cake is definately on the menu, but I might try my hand at making some crab cake towers or some cucumber sandwhiches. You know, little foods that must be eaten with the pinky finger pointing up.
I may find a balance between working woman and housewife yet.
